Because of the abundance of Short Beaked Echidna on the island?

Here's a random guess -- in 1802 British explorer Matthew Flinders named the land "Kanguroo" Island, after landing near Kangaroo Head on the north coast of Dudley Peninsula.

If you were in a place where people shamelessly ask $12/hour for internet time, how much posting would you do? I will catch up two days from now once I back to civilization...

Predictably, Dave Tuckey's answer is correct and he is awarded 88 blerns.

I challenge the correctness of Dave Tuckey's answer on the basis that he is (apparently) not a Kangaroo.

Unfortunately, I'm the judge and you're just the law-talking guy. I rule for the Antelope party.

As a consolation, here's ten blerns for having such a good blog.
