This is a better guess but still incorrect. Ten blerns for guessing ten.
I am very late in adding my guess, so I assume I will be in anti-blern status. It's worth a shot! How about 8?

8 is correct! How could it be anything else? Your answer is worth 90 blerns.
Given the scoring system (one blern for every child in an incorrect guess), I am dismayed that nobody guessed one million or something. Such a guess would certainly have put one if a great position to collect the fabulous prize tht is at stake here.

Though token economies are always fun, don't be too dismayed at the lack of over-exaggerated guesses. It says more about our faith in the likelihood of your fabulous prize than our inability to discern the scoring scheme.

My previously waning enthusiasm for this contest is curiously re-ignited.
